How does FAMS provide the right instructions at the right time to meet your objectives?
FAMS is a Live CMMS System that was built specifically to provide clear work instructions to every maintenance staff member instantly. This is accomplished in the following manner:
There may be one or several buildings in a facility. We work with you to clearly identify the location of each piece of equipment and any rooms that may need service to meet your customer’s expectations.
Preventive Maintenance (PM) is balanced & scheduled for each month, and each of your maintenance staff may be assigned some PM work to accomplish in the CMMS software. In the remaining time that is not being used for PM work, Service Requests and Reimbursable Work can be scheduled for each worker on the fly, as work is needed. FAMS helps you identify individuals who can complete the unscheduled work without significantly interrupting their PM duties and you can easily assign them new tasks to meet your objectives.
Work instructions can be automatically sent to field workers with cell phones or workers can stop by the office for printed work instructions. For all workers, you can measure response time to meet your work objectives. For workers with cell phones, FAMS can automatically record the date and time that work was sent to them, their response timestamp, the actual time they began work, and the actual time they completed work.
Each action in the process can generate automatic notifications to work initiators & managers to track progress and keep everyone on the same page. If work instructions change, or there is a scheduling change, field workers with cell phones can receive an automatic update and their confirmation of the changes is recorded by FAMS.
When work is complete, automatic costs can be assigned for routine work, or custom costs can be entered to generate an invoice. The invoice is sent to accounting automatically & instantly so work is billed quicker and nothing is forgotten.
Complete reports of field worker’s activities are generated instantly to get an overall picture of their progress, to measure efficiency, and if a quality inspection is performed, to track their quality. You now know what they did, who they did it for, how much time it took, how much money it cost, and how much money will be billed to your customer.
